Like most remote monitoring software packages ours checks the operating system processes and reports back in a user friendly pre-defined format, events and processes occurring within the hardware system.
Unfortunately this approach can often be misleading as it can only report on the operation of the equipment from the software point of view – not the hardware. In order to circumvent this limitation we have designed a range of very simple and cost effective hardware that checks the volts, amps, temperature, humidity and light levels and reports back what is actually happening in the physical world.
Also included as part of this software is the ability to control external process and events, schedule power save modes and full power cycling of equipment – especially useful in installations where power consumption is critical or other peripherals form part of the overall system such as routers, switches, printers, card readers etc. which may require the occasional nudge to keep working.
