10 Squared, one of the leading UK interactive kiosk, ticketing machine and digital signage manufacturers have further cemented their position in the market place.

Odeon/UCI, the largest cinema chain in the UK, with outlets in Europe as UCI Germany, commissioned 10 Squared to design and manufacture a new Ticket Machine.  The revolutionary new design incorporates a fully interactive touch screen fascia, complete with chip and PIN payment options. This new ATM will replace the existing units in the field, with the roll-out commencing in early June 2006.

This order came fresh on the success of the bespoke kiosk design, manufacture and installation in the Arndale Centre, Manchester on behalf of Prudential Property Investment Managers. Working in conjunction with Chapman Taylor and Connell Mott MacDonald on the designs, a breath-taking new interactive kiosk was created utilising dual touch screens and digital signage.  Installation of the equipment was performed by 10 Squared staff working closely with Bovis Lend Lease, the main contractors, and George S Hall who are the Arndale Centre’s Facilities Management Company. The kiosks have a further upgrade path which includes installation of card readers and printers offering customer card loyalty schemes and voucher printing.
